Leslie Benzies – The Visionary Behind GTA and the New Frontier, “Everywhere”
He began his professional career in 1995 at DMA Design, which later became Rockstar North. He was the lead developer for the GTA series from GTA III to GTA V.
DMA Design
DMA Design, now known as Rockstar North, is a British video game development company founded in 1987.
Originally focused on Amiga and Atari games, they gained international fame with the puzzle game Lemmings in 1991.
The company took a significant turn in 1997 with the release of Grand Theft Auto, which led to a series of successful sequels.
Acquired by Take-Two Interactive in 1999, DMA Design was renamed Rockstar North in 2002 and has since continued to develop titles under the Grand Theft Auto franchise, among others.
